just finished watching the Danny Boyle classic. a flash thought about traveling – traveling traveling, not as in vacation traveling. traveling is a selfish activity – it’s an activity which you hope to cover as many miles within you, as your feet does.

There’s so much to this documentary-film – Objectified.
If only I had came across it much earlier..

This is simply too saddening. Haven’t been able to take my eyes off the news for large part of this weekend.
Being able to wake up in the morning knowing that everything’s well is a blessing in itself.

Watch, if you haven’t already

The season of holidays is here! Yeah, we’re living in a season-less country but we insist. It seems rightfully normal for the working adult to enjoy a good holiday during the holiday season because everyone’s talking about having a good one in the next 2 months or so. Seems to be, I say, because I won’t know as I haven’t worked a full calendar year. Nevertheless, 2 weeks ago, we treated ourselves to a reallyreally good weekend getaway to the land of breezy beach huts and starry skies at Tanjung Pinang. Fantabulous!

I’m not extremely excited about making the beeline for the quickest exit out of the country during the holiday season because since everyone else’s out of town at the same time, this overcrowded, overpopulated island country could possibly be suitably crowded for once, theoretically speaking. How else to be soulistically enriched without lugging the 55-litres backpack? *hmmm…..*

While clearing my inbox, I saw this email from a very familiar sender. I was reminded of the little promise I made to myself some 5-6 years ago. Perhaps it’s a little sign from above to make good my promise now that I’ve started earning a little dough. It’s not about making a measurable difference, this, I’m pretty sure, doesn’t do that. It’s about passing on a hope to someone who needs it more than me.
